Data Safe Series S

The Data Safe Series S is a compact fireproof safe engineered for the protection of digital storage media including hard drives, USB drives, memory cards, and other magnetic or optical data carriers. Where a standard fireproof safe is specified to keep interior temperatures below the paper char threshold, the Series S is certified to the stricter tolerances required by digital media — maintaining temperatures below 50°C and relative humidity below 85% throughout the rated fire duration, conditions that preserve data media integrity when a standard safe interior would still reach temperatures sufficient to destroy it.

Certified to NT Fire 017-60 Dis or equivalent data media fire protection standards, the Series S provides 60 minutes of certified fire resistance to the data media specification. Its compact format makes it well suited to individual offices, home offices, and small IT environments where the volume of physical backup media is limited but the consequence of losing it in a fire — whether in terms of data recovery cost, business disruption, or compliance breach — is significant.
